Although players have been requesting it since the early days of Destiny 1 , Bungie confirms that Destiny 2 will not support matchmaking in the traditional sense. There will be a new feature called Guided Games that is meant to bring players together for challenging activities, but randomly pairing players is something that Bungie feels does not work for its game. Table of contents. I'm just an old killer, hired to do some wetwork. If I remember correctly that's the one thing people asked for they added this game, and I know Bungie said something about it being frustrating playing with strangers, but at the end of the day that's up to the player if they decide to play with strangers or invite their friends, now Raid I kinda understand since it's really hard to beat even with people you feel comfortable with, but Nightfall is just inexcusable, it's really disappointing as a Destiny 1 player to not be able to play this game modes without relying on a PC, Laptop, cell phone app to find teamates.
I really enjoyed the experience of the level 28 Prison Of Elders, but Bungie absolutely refuses to add matchmaking into the game. Would it be so hard to do the following? I wouldn't be surprised if the "Matchmaking Enabled" versions would be more populated than the "Matchmaking Disabled" versions. Was this discussion helpful?
