As an eridium-fueled Siren in the Borderlands games, Lilith wields deadly abilities—but bears a heavy burden. When it came time to take the original cast and turn them into story characters, that meant retro-fitting each with a sense of self. When you transition them to NPC status, you have to backfill those gaps in ways that are both rewarding and not jarring to the people who played as them. You have to find the throughlines. For Lilith, that throughline is her confidence and attitude.

At its annual E3 press conference, Microsoft showed off an all new trailer for Borderlands 3. Quietly behind the scenes, Gearbox Software revealed its own new trailer for one of the worst kept secrets regarding free DLC for Borderlands 2. As expected, the new DLC is now available and gives players a taste of what they can expect when Borderlands 3 launches in September. The trailer also showcases some of the stranger weapons players can come across including a rifle that shoots rainbow ponies.

Craig Mazin Chernobyl tackles the script, which will take inspiration from the game series, but is said to be a loose adaptation rather than a direct copy of the games' storylines. Roth cast his lead, Lilith, in May last year, with Australian actress Cate Blanchett stepping into the role of the thief.
After the events of Borderlands 2, Axton seems to have found a career as a model as Echo logs in-game talk about his magazine covers, body pillows, and his paint job that Moze can put on her Iron Bear. Lilith is arguably the most recognizable character from the Borderlands series, her only competitors being Handsome Jack or maybe Tiny Tina. But, between the second and third games, Lillith really has trouble accepting her commanding role. In BL3 she's a lot more sure of her role in general, which is nice to see.
